At Carlton Training, we offer a full range of quality assurance courses suitable for both Internal (IQA) and External Quality Assurers (EQA).
Led by our expert tutors, in our quality assurance courses, you will be guided through a range of topics for each course to learn the skills needed to get qualified.
When taking one of our nationally recognised Quality Assurance courses you’ll learn modern practices to effectively plan and conduct quality assurance tasks, sampling and checks.
You will get the best opportunity to develop and improve your Quality Assurance skills. We will also encourage you to achieve and implement these newly developed skills throughout the training and in your workplace.
Our quality assurance courses are split into two sections, IQA and EQA. Before we dive into the courses, here’s a little overview of each so you can decide what suits you best!
Internal Quality Assurance is more commonly known as IQA, and “an IQA” often stands for an Internal Quality Assurer.
An IQA’s role is to ensure that the entire assessment and teaching process within an organisation is carried out properly and can withstand scrutiny. We have covered this topic extensively on our blog, so we recommend you read our comprehensive guide to IQAs for everything you need to know.
External Quality Assurance, more commonly known as EQA, is the process of checking, inspecting and reporting on behalf of an awarding body (such as City & Guilds). This process must take place for each approved centre offering qualifications. For a full deep dive into EQAs and everything the role entails, see our complete guide to External Quality Assurance.
If you are unsure of which quality assurance course is the right one for you, please don’t hesitate to contact our team at Carlton Training for more guidance.
