2007 Teacher Training reforms
In 2007 the government introduced a new reform concerning teachers in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
New Teacher Training awards were introduced by awarding bodies and training providers had to follow suit. Carlton Training responded swiftly: “We were probably the first ones in England to offer the new CTLLS teacher training qualification at level 4. Despite being a brand new award, we managed to see our candidates through to the end of the programme and proudly apply for their well-deserved certificates.”
